We didn't mean to build Flub
And we definitely didn't mean to call it Flub.
We just wanted to test an idea. And we wanted a ridiculous working title we'd definitely never actually use. Yet here we are.
who are we
Who's behind Flub?
Two guys. Between us, we’ve spent over 20 years years building hospitality technology used by amazing businesses across a huge range of the hospitality world; from the biggest groups, through through to local independents.
Over that time, we saw the same thing happen again and again.
The software kept getting more powerful. The operators weren’t getting any happier, while getting further and further away from the basics.
Most businesses didn’t need more features. They needed something they’d actually use.

What we kept seeing
Great businesses using 5% of their software.
Most operators were paying through the nose for platforms packed with features they never had the time, budget or expertise to use.
Brands conceding their creativity for ease
Opposite to complex platforms, easy 'marketplace' apps meant business were giving up their brand and creativity for ease.
Success had a formula
A strong brand, with a community focussed approach, wrapped up like a club or something to join, won every single time. It's just very few people knew how to do it.
